Whisper is a like-new Fountaine Pajot Astrea 42 Maestro version located in Florida (East Coast) behind the seller’s private residence. Owned and operated by an aerospace engineer, "Whisper" is not your run-of-the-mill production build. Thoughtful attention has been given to the design and layout of the systems aboard this vessel. Built for complete off-grid use (Victron Energy systems) with a 48-volt lithium bank, variable-speed air conditioning (AC all night with no generator needed!!), 2000 watts of solar, 34.8 KWH battery capacity, and dual integral generators (one for each engine), "Whisper" is one of the most upgraded vessels in her class, with only 230 hours on her 50 HP engines (an upgrade from the standard 30 HP engines). A unique feature is the ICW-friendly rig from the factory with a large square-top mainsail for added performance. Having access to the ICW allows her owners to navigate calm waters during inclement weather conditions and has increased their ability to find great marinas on the East Coast without being restricted by the mast height. The cherry on the top is the high output water maker (105 liters per hour) that runs directly off the battery bank - No need for that noisy generator to make one of life's most precious resources. Simply put, "Whisper" is a power generating, electrical masterpiece that can provide every need for extensive Blue-Water cruising. Please read through the below specs carefully to fully understand the inventory, system design and thoughtful upgrades. A similar spec vessel ordered from the factory would be incredibly costly. She has been priced to sell. Whisper is U.S. flagged, Florida-registered (including the tender), and is US tax-paid, allowing for a swift and easy transfer with minimal paperwork.
